Overview

The Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) provides scientific advice to the government of the United Kingdom in the event of emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to the main SAGE committee, several sub-committees are constituted to provide advice on emergent topics, comprising experts from diverse sectors.

UrbanBetter’s Dr Tolullah Oni is a committee member of the Ethnicity sub-group, advising SAGE on COVID-19 risks and impacts for minority ethnic groups.
